BLENDED SEASONS WOW CARD !

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my blog .
After a terrible week I needed some relaxation time and what better way than to reach for my new stamps! I always find I can lose myself in the moment when I am crafting and it brings me so much comfort , do you find that also ?
Stampin' Up are releasing some new products next month which will only be available during the month of August or until sold out . There is a bundle , which I am show casing today , called Blended Seasons . It is such a versatile stamp set which has most occasions covered form Christmas to weddings !There is also a new pack of watercolour pencils which I am eager to try !
How have I been able to get it so early you ask ? That is a perk of being a S. U demonstrator - we have access to all the new goodies way before any one else ! There are even more reasons to sign up this month , have you heard ? You get to choose a whole new colour range of an ink pad family !
Now for my cards , I had seen many wonderful creations form my fellow S.U demonstrators before my set even reached me and wanted to create something entirely different to those . I thought I'd like to re visit the faux silk technique but had forgotten what it was called , don't laugh , so went in search of stamping with tissue paper and came across a video by Lol Thompson which covered many different ways to use the samples created ! I fell in love with the idea behind this next card !

Pretty cool huh ? It was created using Brusho Crystals to make a watercolour wash on my craft sheet for the tissue paper , then when it was dry I scrunched it up , then carefully unwrapped it and adhered it using my multi purpose glue , next I gently tapped a versa mark pad all over it and then added some gold embossing powder . The magic happened when I took my heat gun to it and I was amazed at
how pretty it was !
The next card is a simpler version and I have only added copper embossing after the first process . You will notice the colour is lighter on this sample .
