Hello Stampers ! Today I'd like to share some cards I have created using Rooted In Nature and the matching DSP , Nature's poem - on sale now , buy three , get one free , so stock up now ! For more details go to my shopping site here
I have not even begun to explore the possibilities of this set and fancied casing a lovely card I received in a team swap at our retreat on May 18 th this year .  The card was created by my lovely downline Rhonda Laity  and when you open the card you see both sides of the DSP ! Clever !  I set about working out my own measurements for a full size Au card .
Here is the recipe I came up with  :

Card base 14.85 cm x 13.5 cm score @ 3 cm on the long side
DSP 10 cm x 14.85 cm
Stamp greeting on Whisper White scrap and die cut
Stamp leaves using Tranquil Tide onto folded over edge
Stamp T.Tide leaves onto Mint Macaron scrap and die cut , THEN emboss using new embossing mats page 221 AC.
Adhere DSP to inside of 3 cm strip placing adhesive close to the outer edge .
Tie a piece of Mint Macaron Nature's Twine all the way around the card and tie in a bow - tip place a glue dot at the base of where you are going to have the bow , this helps hold the twine tight !
Assemble your embellishments as liked .

the inside of the card !

For my next card I used some different sheets of the same DSP and some different leaves from this great set . After adhering the two pieces of DSP together I ran this piece through the Big Shot using the Layered Leaves embossing folder - one of my favourite folders ! My sentiment was stamped on yet another piece of this  DSP  in Blackberry Bliss . I used my Stamparatus because I wanted to be sure I could stamp it again if I did not get a good image . Turns out this was a smart move because I then decided my greeting would pop more if I heat embossed it and using the Stamparatus enabled me to do just that ! I hope you like my cards and that I have inspired you to create something wonderful today !
