We had a lovely time in today's classes and everyone agreed these cards are a little tricky but easy when you have a sample to follow !
Everyone coped really well and we had no major mishaps.
We created two different styles of the peek-a-boo slider card . The first one uses two pieces of card stock . I tried to follow a tutorial but found the measurements to be not quite right so started again and created my own version. This cute card uses the chooks from the SAB set Hey Chick - love that cheeky looking chook ! I cased this design from Joanne Cantrell . I have used the Hexagons Dynamic embossing folder as a stamp for the chicken wire on the front of my card and have also used different colours and ribbon embellishments . If you've not created one of these cards , the card slides across to reveal a hidden message - too cute !
The next design was cased from Frenchie's "girl in the rain" for the idea on the front and I decided to make it onto a slider card also ! This fold design is Meg Loven's and uses three pieces of card stock .
Here is a selection of samples I created to inspire my ladies to create more of these cards !
Thats all I have for you right now but please come back tomorrow after 5 pm when our ESAD blog hop goes live !
