ESAD 2017 LAST CHANCE SALE BRATION BLOG HOP

I was so excited to join in this blog hop I didn't quite know where to begin . I had been playing around with the sepia water colour technique so I decided to try it using Avant Garden . I'm quite pleased with the result . I also used another SAB stamp - Delicate Details. I love this technique and its really easy . I used a tutorial by Sandi McIvor , thank you so much for sharing , Sandi . 😊😊😊 . It is really just a matter of laying own some colour using your aqua painter , allowing it to dry and then stamping and beaching out some parts of the flower . Easy and so effective !

My new SAB pack of glimmer paper arrived the other day and I couldn't wait to have a play with it and see what designs I could come up with . I was dying to use all three colours - Mint Macaron , Bermuda Bay and Sweet Sugar Plum . They are so pretty and would have to rank among my favourite colours . I have used the same colour ink to stamp the flowers and leaves and the flower centres are stamped using Emerald Envy which helps tie together my Emerald Envy ribbon to the colour scheme . A strip of each colour glimmer paper underneath my mat adds interest to my card as does stamping the sentiment multiple times tone on tone onto the card base.

I used some Succulent Garden DSP as a base for my next card. It is mounted onto Tip Top Taupe and then onto my Mint Macaron base . I have die cut thanks from Mint Macaron glimmer and mounted it onto a Whisper White banner and then a Sweet Sugar Plum banner . I love how layering adds interest to a card .

I took some Falling In Love DSP and mounted some  flowers die cut from Sweet Sugar plum glimmer onto it . The leaves are die cut from Sahara Sand card stock. Some rhinestones complete my card .

I ran a couple of Peek a boo classes this weekend and was busy making some extra samples . i used the flower from Avant Garden as a palm tree so I thought I'd show you how this card came together . I love playing with a few different sets to create the scene I'm going for and all the better when it comes together just as you imagined !

I hope you have enjoyed my projects ! Now it's time to see what the lovely and talented
Maree McIntosh has created for us .
