I am really enjoying crafting this long weekend and having the opportunity to join in some challenges . Are you in your craft room too ? I decided to combine these two challenges and when I saw the colours I thought I'd pull out my Vintage Leaves set which hasn't seen much ink of late . I used Copper as my free choice and embossed the leaf images with Copper embossing powder . I sponged the leaves in the three challenge colours loving the effect . I took some Fancy Frost DSP and swiped a Versamark pad across it , sprinkled it with Copper embossing powder and heated it using my heat gun. I saw this idea on Stephanie Fischer 's blog thecraftythinker.com.au , thank you Stephanie for sharing this great tip ! This piece was sponged using Bermuda Bay mounted onto my Early Espresso base and the Peekaboo Peach wash tape was added to the side edges . I tied a thread pulled from my Burlap Ribbon around my leaves , and after coiling some Copper Metallic thread underneath them adhered them to my card front . I cut my sentiment from Copper Foil and popped that partially across my leaves.
