MINI CATALOGUE LAUNCH DAY

 Hi stamping friends .

I'd like to share with you just a few photos of some cards I created using the Gold Gilded Leafing embellishment .

A wonderful group of 10 ladies joined me in our first in person class since March last year ! Almost 12 months of hard work by all fellow Victorians joining together as one to fight off Covid 19 .

My lovely downline , Rhonda , is such a kind and beautiful friend who gave unselfishly of her time to help me put this day together following my recent loss and another two more gorgeous friends , Denise and Jeanette helped me with the catering and prep, such kind people that I feel blessed to have in my life . The Kerang community  has been an amazing support for my husband and I following the death of our eldest son Jay , just before Christmas last year . I've had flowers sent from my beauty therapist , the gorgeous Katelyn and my lovely hair dresser , Pam , insisted on me not paying for my hair cut following our sad loss . Friends and my sisters in law, Gail & Fiona  and brother , Alan  have been a wonderful support for us  as well as my gorgeous grand daughter , Chelsea , I love her so so much . My nieces and nephews , Jay's friends have also been wonderful and I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing people .

Dawn Morris won the lucky door prize which was he Shark bundle as well as the left / right game !

Sharron Freeman won the workshop game and one of the lucky chair prizes .

Judy McClelland won the treasure hunt .

Belinda Delamare won the lucky stool prize .

I used heat and stick powder and my Brushed Blooms stamp set to add the gilding to this first  card and the Art Gallery stamp set for the second card.

I applied adhesive sheets to the card  stock before die cutting the letters to create  this card .

For this card I added the gilding to glue dots .

Next I applied multipurpose glue using a thick paint brush , then allowing to to dry until tacky .

This one was cased from Mititso Crafts and uses multipurpose glue as well for the gold matt to which the gilding is added . I have also used the Acetate sheets for this one .

You can add multipurpose glue to the flower for a more subtle application od gilding as shown here .

For this card I added liquid glue to the ice cream and the mixed some glue with water and flicked it on wth a paint brush after allowing it to become tacky.

Next , I punched a shape from card stock I added adhesive sheet to and applied some glue dots to the card front before adding the gilding

These next two cards were created using exactly the same background technique as demonstrated by Sarah Douglas during our On Stage At Home back in November . The Painted Texture embossing folder was covered in Pool Party ink direct from the ink pad and then I dabbed on some Pretty Peacock ink and spritzed it before running it through the die cutting machine . Amazing how different these two cards look isn't it !

A good time was had by all and I've had many thank you texts and messages from my lovelies telling me how much they enjoyed the day and getting together to stamp and chat again .
I changed the day up a bit by demonstrating a technique then choosing someone to gift the card and the already prepped pieces to be added to it so that that person could finish off the card at home ! The ladies got to know how this went after a while and would tell me , I really like this card , Cheryl , so that I'd choose them ! Fun !
That's all I have for you for now and I will be attempting to go back to my Facebook Lives real soon , take care my lovelies xx
