COLOUR INKSPIRATION @ C 119

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog today . I haven't taken part in a challenge for quite a while , sometimes life just gets too busy !
Here are the colours for this challenge.

I looked at the colours for this challenge and to be truthful was totally uninspired  ! Then as a trolled the internet looking for an idea to jump out at me I remember the faux patina technique ! It's been ages since I've used this technique.
I began by stamping the gorgeous branches from the Thoughts For You set , one of our oldest stamps , using Black Archival ink and then I embossed this piece using the Woodlands embossing folder . I started  sponging  beginning with Smoky Slate , then Garden Green , Daffodil Delight and finished off with Basic Gray Archival . I used Copper embossing powder for my heat embossing .
I cut my trees from Shimmery White CS and coloured them with Garden Green ink using my aqua painter - I had tried Garden Green CS and found it too dark against my gorgeous background . The deer are cut from Copper Foil sheets and some gorgeous Copper ribbon finishes my card off  . With the sentiment I have added this card could be used for many occasions . I was delighted to be able to use my bronze Stampin' Blends alcohol marker to colour the rhinestone jewels I have added !
