CONVENTION SWAPS

Wow it's here !! This is the time of the year all of the S.U community gets excited - Convention !! I wanted this blog post to go live the day it starts so that I could share my swaps that I will be giving out today !!
I always make a few varieties because I tire of doing too much of the same thing !!
My first swap is Vintage themed. I took a piece of Naturals Ivory CS and stamped it using the clear block background technique and Crushed Curry , Coastal Cabana

and Basic Gray SW markers. Next , I stamped various images in Black Stazon . I then stamped the script from By The Tide in various places  and also the large flower image from Stippled Blossoms using Baked Brown Sugar - love how it looks like gold !!Then I took the Honeycomb TEF and inked parts of it up in Gold Encore ink and then heat embossed with Gold EP . I then ran the whole piece through using the same TEF. Using the Hive Die I cut some Eastern Elegance and Afternoon Picnic DSP and used pieces of this to place on my card .I then used some Crotchet Trim , Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana Ruffle Stretch Trim and some Gold  Baker's twine for my embellishment topped off with a Very Vintage Designer button which I have also gold heat embossed. I mounted this piece onto a piece of Basic Black CS so that the recipient can then mount the whole thing onto a coordinating card base of their choice . I hope you like my swap !!
