This afternoon I demonstrated the Split Negative technique during my Facebook live video . This is the first time I've tried this but have been wanting to for a while now . You need to use an image that is out lined with not too much detail , although the Fragrant Flowers stamp works really well - you will see what I mean in the samples you are about to see .
Begin with two pieces of both dark card stock & light that are exactly the same size . Stamp , using a stamping platform , on the light using the dark ink , then white heat emboss the darker piece without moving the stamp from the platform . Then simply hold both pieces together & cut into two pieces - make sure you don't have one upside down like I did in my video ! Real live crafting !
