APRIL CLASS , QUICK FUN FOLD , WATERCOLOUR & ALCOHOLS BLENDS WITH GOLD GILDING !

 Hi and thanks for visiting my blog today ! What a fun classes we had this week ! 

These first two cards were created using the blends / alcohol technique and then   gold gilding flakes were added ! How fun ! The whale card uses Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy blends . The turtle card uses the new in colour Evening Evergreen , Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce blends . To colour the turtle , I inked up in Granny Apple green and then I added some Evening Evergreen using a dauber to achieve a two tone effect . To add the gilding flakes apply a tiny amount of multipurpose glue , allow to dry a little and then add the flakes . The ladies had a choice of these two cards . The first fun fold is the card the class created , chosen by my husband as the preferred card -   I couldn't decide  so was guided by him - do you think he made the right choice ? My preference is below ! This is called a Pop Up Flip card and there are many on Pinterest and You tube .

Lastly , it was time to get our watercolour on ! I gave the ladies a choice of these two cards .
