SPONGING & INK SWIPING TECHNIQUES

Hi ad welcome to my blog ! Today I am sharing my video I created during Fridays Facebook
Live .
I love to create with just stamps ink and paper !It's just so satisfying and a delight to see what you can create with these simple techniques .
The first card was cased loosely form the catalogue using a new set which will be available in the new mini catalogue going live on 4 th August , it's called In The Pines . If you love trees as much as I do you'll want to get it ! Not only does to have trees but hello , you had me at filigree tree ! I mean who doesn't love a pretty filigree tree !

The next card used another new set Life is Beautiful  and I have cased this loosely from Catherine Pooler . However Catherine states you can't use Stampin ' Up ! inks for this technique and I beg to differ as you'll see in my video . I have again used glycerine ( available from any pharmacy at around $8 Au ) and have combined ink swiping with sponging for this card .

Last of all I showed you how I cased Michelle Zindorf's card here but did not complete it during the video . I have just used ink swiping here , no sponging ! What a quick and simple card again using the beautiful tree from the same set ! Thus set has leaves , snow flakes and dots you can add to the tree as well as a cute little bird house ! What's not to love !
