Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my blog today . I haven't done much scrapbooking for a few months and spent a day with my good friend and fellow S . U demonstrator , Cheryl O'Bree last week and this wet my appetite for this fun craft again. I had seen a link by Ruth at Artful Stamping which I sent to Cheryl and used her tips to complete the first of a few pages I have had fun creating.
Here is the page I cased from Ruth guided by Cheryl who had already completed her page , she was so excited she couldn't wait ! This is my gorgeous great grand daughter Allira , so super cute ! I have used paste , spritzing and brusho to create this page.
I wanted a page that matched so using Cheryl's page as my inspiration I created this next page . I was also inspired by Lauren Alarid , Crafty Little Peach . This time I used a photo of my granddaughter , Aaliyah sporting her new short hair cut . She had cut it for the greatest shave last year and loved it so much she has kept it fairly short . I love her new look don't you ?
To begin this page I took a large paint brush and my re inkers and painted stripes down the page . I have used gold stickers to add interest to a fairly plain page .
I took the page I had already created a background on and found a photo of Chelsea , my grand daughter and Allira and tried again ! Ah that was more like it ! This photo matched the background perfectly . I love that Stampin' Up ! have so many stamps and dies to choose from , it makes it so easy to create a lovely page !If you live in the Kerang and surrounding area and would like to attend my product based class for one of these layouts , contact me for details or check my Facebook page .
