So for this week's challenge, All About Christmas , my card was created using the Carols Of Christmas bundle . After watercoloring my background piece of shimmery white card stock I stamped my sentiment , die cut it and proceeded to assemble my doily and die cuts around it . How cool are the trees ? They have been created using the baby swipe technique then embossing paste was added to create the illusion of snow covered trees . A spattering of wink of stella completes my card . Cheryl you've created such a wonderful card with the Carols of Christmas stamp set. I love the swirly colours in the background and the beautiful trees. The snow from the embossing paste looks awesome as does the little silver bird. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Christmas Challenge this week and sharing this wonderful card. It really put me in the spirit.

DeleteHi Cheryl, what a lovely combination of colours you've created using that baby-wipe technique. Adding the embossing paste to the trees really does give a great bit of texture as well as create the illusion of snow on the branches. Beautifully done! I especially love that glittery little bird, sitting on the twig and looking up at your sentiment. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful! Love that watercolour background. Of course, all the other details - embossing paste trees, the doily, the die cuts - really enhance that background. Thanks for joining us again at Watercooler Wednesday.
