July Technique Card Class

Yesterday was the perfect day to craft - rained all day ! I had 8 lovely ladies join me to create three cards . The first card created was a screen fold card . I used Artsitically Asian - love that set - for an oriental look . This card comes together quite easily and quickly , just score and fold , punch the legs , stamp your panels and you're done . Watermelon Wonder and black archival ink is used here and some of the ladies used Bermuda Bay which was beautiful . I was asked what the Asian writing meant and I had no idea so have since asked my stamping sisters and the uppermost writing ( in the catalogue ) means friendship , the lower one means faith , trust , respect , worship . So there you go ladies now you know !

Then next card was cased from Dawn Griffiths here http://www.dawnsstampingthoughts.net/2016/03/in-the-meadow-.html

I love the way this card turned out . I used Wink Of Stella for the moon and the Woodgrain or the new Seaside TEF worked well for this card . It is quite simple , but really effective and I tried it in pink also and was really pleased with the result . The stamp set used was In The Meadow , inks Early Espresso and Soft Sky with either the white gel pen or chalk marker for the accents. Another new item on this card is the Classic Label punch . Thank you Gayle for requesting more male cards - that was my motivation for creating this card !

Last , but not least was a very simple  but oh so elegant card created using the Floral Phrases set . Perfect for those times when you are asked to create a special card and they want it yesterday ! Looks as if you've spent hours - sshhhh if only they knew how easy it was ! Everyone used a different in colour so there was no waiting on inks to go around the table .
Here you go

My next class is my beginners class which will be held on  Tuesday July 19 th @ 7.30 pm and repeated again on Thursday 21 st July @ 1.30 pm . Contact me if you'd like to join in everyone is most welcome .😀😀😀
