I have had so much fun creating my first ever bendi cards . Once I had created the first I immediately wanted to create another - I warn you these are addictive especially when you sit back and admire your finished creation !
Here is my first try - a baby card for a special new addition to my family .
Once you have the framework constructed it's simply a matter of decorating as you wish . Here I have used a few retired stamps that I have in my stash . I have also used the Tree Builder punch for the clouds and the small heart and star punch for the hearts and stars inside . Here is a picture of the inside also .
I began with a base card size of 4 1/4 X 51/2 inches
Next layer 2 1//2 X 5 1/2 inches
Outer layer 1 3/4 X 5 1/2 inches
I was guided by a stamping friend Nicole Wilson and I am so grateful for your help Nicole 😘 . I was inspired by a gorgeous card shared on a Stampin ' Up ! Facebook page by Maree Jaeschke . What I love about Stampin ' Up ! sharing what we love !
For the next two cards I altered the measurements to suit my cards . The back piece being 6 inches high and then the other pieces altered according and I've curved those layers also . If you're like me and nervous about drawing a curve - here's a tip ! I used my retired Jingle All The Way framelits to trace a curve then cut with my paper snips .
I used my Tags and Labels framelits , Word Window , 3/4 circle , 1/2 inch circle and retired spiral punches also to create the trains . I also used Sprinkles of Life , Zoo Babies ,Kinda Eclectic , Ray Of Sunshine ,Number Of Years stamp sets and matching framelits / punches . The pieces were embossed using the Stylish Stripes and the Decorative Dots embossing folders .
There are many tutorials on Pinterst for creating the basic framework of this card and it's fairly easy once you get the hang of it ! If you need any more information please feel free to contact me . If you're reading this post I'd really love to hear from you . It means a lot to me when my followers take time out of their busy lives to leave me a comment .
