MY FIRST STAMPIN' UP ! CLASS

So for my first class I was delighted to have seven ladies in attendance .
First up we created a block card which folds down to go into an envelope . We used the Postage Stamp and the 1 " square punch for the squares which are layered onto the card . The paper we used was from the DSP mini stack All Abloom - just gorgeous don't you think ? After we constructed the block card all that was left to do was decorate it using Petite Petals stamp and matching punch and also Pappillion Potpourri and matching punch . See the cute little greeting ! It comes from the set called Honeycombe Hello and I was delighted to discover it coordinates not only with the Hive die but also with the 7/8 punch which we used today and there are a few other small punches that also can be used with this stamp set - good value I think . All of my group received an instruction sheet and a template so that they can again create this lovely card easily at home .
The next card used a technique called cotton wool stuffed card . I saw the tutorial on Deb Valder 's blog and thought it'd be fun to try so when my friend Cheryl O ' Bree came for a visit we got to work on this technique .
For this card we used the hostess set Bloom With Hope and our wonderful blendabilites , the Tiny Triangles TEF  and some of our gorgeous seam binding ribbon .

So lastly we created a quick and easy card using the emboss resist technique . Some were made using Melon Mambo and some used Tempting Turquoise - both gorgeous don't you think ?
If you'd like to learn how to create a card using these techniques either by attending a class or hosting your own workshop please contact me . My next card class will be on Sunday the 24 th August and my next  Scrapbooking day will be the 10 th of August . Contact me to book  .
Happy Stamping
