Vintage Scrapbooking

I have been working on some projects for my Scrapbooking class later this month . I chose a vintage theme and some photos of my Granny and also my great grandmother . I used Creative Elements , Best Of Butterflies , retired  , Everything Eleanor , Four Frames  ,Loving Thoughts and Tea PartyStamp sets. I stamped onto Natural Composition Specialty DSP using Early Espresso  and White Craft ink. I then created some embellishments using a variety of stamps twine ,ribbon glimmer paper and buttons.
For th next page I tried using paint to stamp with around the edges of my page . I mixed my re inkers with some white paint. For the centre section I used the lattice die for a stencil and the cut out flowers to give an embossed look . I mixed reinker with rubbing alcohol and spritzed to achieve this effect . I also made a tag , that is hidden behind the photo , for journaling . Then I again made my own embellishments with various stamps , ribbons ,and an Antique Brad. I used Morning Post alphabet for my title . I hope you like my pages!

Then , just for fun I created this next page using some retired DSP which I love . These pages were so fun to create . If you would like to join me in creating a double layout scrapbook page email me here cheryl_algie@live.com.au . I will be holding regular classes on a monthly basis and the first begins on the 15 th of June . That ' s all for now ! Happy Stamping !
