IT’S ALL ABOUT THE STARS !

 Hello stamping friends !

Tonight’s Facebook Live was fun , well after a false start which stopped my video telling me it was blocked ! What ! I didn’t let that stop me , I tried again & success this time .

Here are my cards I created using the Stars At Night bundle . This bundle includes a hybrid embossing folder , dies & a stamp set . It will be available on 6 th September ! I demonstrated how it cuts & embossed simultaneously & looks amazing on both silver & gold foil ! My first card uses the new Granny Apple Green Foil form the new mini together with the Holographic Specialty paper form the Annual Catalogue .

 

For this card I used More Dazzle ( AC page 127 ) , O Holy Night DSP & Night Of Navy cardstock .

PLAYING WITH HOLOGRAPHIC PAPER

 Hello stampers .

Last night for my Facebook Live video I was inspired by a video posted by our SU CEO Sarah Douglas showing some different ideas using the Holographic Specialty DSP form the Annual Catalogue .

I began with the brightest piece using the large floral die from Two Tone Flora . I die cut the DSP & layered it onto a piece of Fresh Freesia & used some new ribbon from the Holiday Mini to add a bow . The sentiment is from Artistically Inked .

For my next card , I used Foursquare masks for the first time & I have fallen in love with them ! They are amazing & very easy to miss in the AC . They are white so you can't seen them very clearly , hopefully you are able to get a better look at them when you watch my video . I also used some new foil which is coming in the new mini . It is Granny Apple Green & Melon Mambo , a winner with me , you know how I love pink !

Lastly I used the trees from Regal Reindeer embossing them in White .

CHRISTMAS FUN FOLD FULL DAY CLASS !

 Hello stampers .

Last Saturday I held my first Christmas class which included products not even available yet unless you are a demonstrator!

It was great fun , tested our brains & we laughed a lot , had great food & lots of fun . I had put a lot of effort into this class & each piece of card stock was individually cut & scored for my class participants. The day ran so so smoothly with everyone being finished their projects by the allotted time of 3 pm . I had left two of the easiest cards to last & that was much appreciated because we do get tired by the end of the day with our brains working overtime! Ha ha ! 

There were six different fun folds ; a 3 tier pop up card with a shout out to Maria Menz for her awesome video & tutorial for this larger size than I have previously seen which still fits into an A 2 envelope ; a domed front or Benny window  card ; a bay window card ; a one sheet top locking card cased from stamping elegance; a one sheet surprise card & finally a gatefold pop up  card with tutorial by created the ottoway .

POP UP STADIUM FOR AUGUST CLASS

Last night I shared a video on my Facebook Live for a Pop Up Stadium card . I followed a tutorial here .

BEAUTY OF THE DEEP

Hello stamping friends . I hope you are doing well . For tonight's Facebook Live I created two totally different cards using the Beauty Of The Deep bundle .

For my first card I used the vellum / alcohol ink technique . i began with a piece of vellum I had adhered to a piece of Basic White card stock . Then I used my Stampin ' Blends alcohol markers to add some ink to this piece . I spritzed it with Isopropyl alcohol 100 % & allowed it to dry . The colours of my blends were lost Lagoon , Pretty Peacock ,Boho Blue , Tahitian Tide , Azure Afternoon & Blueberry Bushel . You can see this process in my video which has now been up loaded to You Tube .

For my next card I cased a card by Michelle Zindorf , a very clever lady who primarily   uses only stamps to create her amazing works of art !

I changed the colours to some that were more to my liking . I used Lemon Lolly , Coastal Cabana , Tahitian Tide & Starry Sky . Then I made the card my own by creating a two step stamping card . You can view this in my video .

JULY CARD CLASS

 Hello stampers !

Yesterdays class was so much fun ! Thank you for joining me ladies !

Here’s our makes 

The group had the choice of creating a slider card with just the truck or they could use the truck & trailer. I shared a few tips & tricks to make things easier for them & everyone had a different sheet of DSP . It was fun to see all of the different cards created. The truck bundle & Horse & Sleigh DSP are on line exclusives & will NOT be in any catalogue so if you love these products, don’t wait or you will risk missing out .

The next card was a little different to other styles I have created with the tag becoming the closure for the card . Once again everyone had a different sheet of DSP to work with . The DSP & bundle are one of the On line exclusive products , Irresistible Blooms .

The last card was cased from page 101 of the catalogue & uses the Scenic Wonders stamp set . One lady chose to orientate hers on the landscape ( something to do with the fish hooks she said 🤣😂🤣) & it looked amazing .

TRUCKING ALONG SLIDER CARD

Hello stamping friends . Tonight I shared my version of a slider card after watching Jay from Mitosu Crafts create his version .

I have used the Trucking Along bundles available now in the On Line store . Please be aware this set will NOT be in any catalogue & has sold out twice over in the US . It is still available in Australia , however .

Here is my card 

My card base for this slim line card is 8 1/4 " x 7 " scored @ 3 1/2 " on the 7 " side . Art piece 3 1/4 " x 8 "

Slider mechanism thick Basic White card stock 1 3/4 x 7 1/2 - adjust length as necessary as shown in the video , scored in 1/2 @ 3/4 " on the long side .

Place this slider piece in trimmer , long side to top of trimmer & cut down about 1/2 " @ the 1/2 " mark & again @ the 7/8 " mark , this becomes your tab for adhering your vehicle to .

Create a scenic background for your card .

Take this piece & pop into the trimmer @ the 7/8 " mark & cut from 1 " to about 5 " . Please watch the video for more information .
