Scrapbooking Class July

For today's class I used Whats Your Type stamp set , our new Happy Patterns masks ,Amazing Birthday , Rotary wheel , Perpetual Birthday calendar stamp set .
Colours were Hello Honey , iMossy Meadow ,Tangelo Twist , Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point .

Workshop cards

Yesterday I travelled to Boort to demonstrate at a workshop for a client . As it was a younger group of ladies with young children I decided to demo some cards suited to children.
Here we have a minion card which was a hit and very topical at the moment . I case this card from Pinterest and it was really easily put together using What's Your Type stamp set and a couple of punches .

Then we use Sprinkles of Life , the SU Ronald McDonald stamp set and the co ordinating punch . It's rather a sweet card and we made a matching envelope also with the new envelope paper.

The last card was the Floral Wings card posted previously .

Card Class 11 th July

Hi Stampers ,

Today's class showcased the hostess set Floral Wings available with a workshop order totalling in excess of $250 or with a $250 customer order . Contact me for details .
These first two cards were cased from Pinterest . I adore this stamp set and it's so easy to use and I love its versatility .
Colours used were Mint Macaron , Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush. I also used the new Fluttering Textured Embissing folder , sponged with Mint Macaron ink. The butterfly was cut out using the new Bold Butterfly framelits .

I designed this next card after a request from one of my ladies to demonstrate the double embossing technique .
I used another new folder called Elegant Dots and the Fun Frames folder. It is quite an effective technique don't you think ? My class ladies were very impressed and said how much they loved this gorgeous card . I used the new gold doily as a base for the butterfly to rest on  ( not pictured it's on the other card I made as I make two for each class )   - this butterfly comes from the Watercolour Wings set .
Other products used were Pappilion Potpourri , Flower Shop bundle , Petite Petals bundle , metallic  thread , Rose Red ink and Cardstock , Pool Party , Cucumber Crush and So Saffron ink . The sentiment  comes from Butterfy Basics and the leaves are from the Cottage Greetings set.

New Catalogue Launch Day

Wonderful day today with 15 ladies in my little home over two sessions this morning and this afternoon . Here are some photos of my display out on the patio .

I've had a busy few weeks planning for this huge event and making little gifts to spoil my ladies who support me so well .Here are some photos of the gifts I popped inside the bags that I'd also decorated using our new cotton paper.

Inside these babies I popped some retired ribbons , some punched shapes and a scissor holder sewn together using some Stampin ' Up ! reitred fabric .

These bags were made using the gift bag die and I filled them with all sorts of yumminess including a lovely satchet of a hot chocolate melt on a stick I purchased from Aldi .

Here are the decorated bags that held everything .

The ladies made these two cards and one matching envelope to showcase our new envelope paper and also the envelope punch board.

The winner of the Treasure Hunt for the morning session was Dawn Morris and Pam Waldron won it at the afternoon session .
Gail Sayers won the major lucky door prize in the morning and Lynette McRae was the winner this afternoon.
I served a lovely Devonshire  tea at both sessions  . All of my ladies said they'd had a lovely day .
My next class will be Scrapbooking next Sunday the 21 st June . 😀

A special gift for a sweet friend

A few weeks ago I made a special gift for a sweet friend of mine . She is a nursing buddy I trained with and also my up line @ Stampin ' Up ! I can't believe I forgot to post it to my blog so here you go !
I adore the sale-a-brat ion stamp Lotus Blossom and it was so much fun to create this for my friend . I then created a matching pop up book card .

The front of the card was created using the Bokeh technique . I just love this design and these colours together.
Supplies:
Stamps : Lotus Blossom , Butterfly Basics , Summer Silhouettes .
Inks : Rich Razzleberry , Pink Pirouette, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi .
Tools : Note Tag Punch , Butterfly framelits
Paper : Whisper White , Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette.

My friend loved her gift so I was inspired to creat another similar project which I gave away as a lucky door prize at my last card class . The winner was and is still in awe of it and cannot get over the effort I put into it ! So sweet of her to say !

SCRAPBOOKING

Hi Stampers .
What fun we had today ! I helped my ladies create what would have to be one of my favourite layouts !
The first is my grandson Sam dressed up as a pirate . He's such a cutie don't you think !
I've used some retired , but still favourite sets for these layouts .
Products used : Real Red , Basic Black , Basic Gray cardstock and Typeset DSP .
Circles Framelits .
Stamp sets : Open Sea , Calm Seas ,Just Jawing and Grunge Rock.
Ink : Craft White , Memento Black

In this page Liam , my oldest grandson is dressed as Harry Potter - how cool does he look !
This time I chose Cherry Cobbler cardstock  Typeset and Back To Black DSP and the Alphabet embossing folder was spritzed with Vanilla Smooch to give it authenticity .
I used the Spider Web and Perfect Print embossing folders to stamp with - have you tried it yet ? It's really cool !
Stamp sets used were Choose Happiness ,  Artistic Etchings , Affection Collection , Grunge Rock and Sheltering Tree - love those spooky trees ! This was easily adapted by Coral to make a Halloween LO for her grandaughter and it looked amazing !
That's all for today ! My next class will be a launch day for our new catalogue which goes live on June 2 nd . My launch will be Sunday 14 th June .
