Class Agenda

I've been playing around with new designs and have been thrilled with the results !
Here's a sneak peak of the pop up panel cards that are in vogue at the moment . I never thought I'd be able to create one of these but it's amazing how easy they are  ! Once you've done one you're good to go !
I'm doubtful I'd have figured out the pop up mechanism without the help of my good friend , up line and stamping buddy , Cheryl O' Bree . We had a crafting day earlier this week and created a pop up panel card and a magic slider card .
Here's my pop up panel card .

September Beginner's Classes

I based this class on a tutorial by Patty Bennet . Thank you so much Patty for the inspiration !
I decided to save time I'd die cut a selection for my ladies to choose from and gave them the option of copying my designs or coming up with their own .
I created a cute little box based on a design I'd used a while ago which I think may have been one of Patty's also !  I found it easy to modify to fit these cut tittle note cards and it was simply put together with only one whoopsy ! Wonder who that was !
As mentioned note cards were used and also Serene Scenery DSP . The note cards are available for purchase and are only $10 .50 and you receive 20 cards plus envelopes .
These are my cards

These are the cards my clever ladies designed . First we have Vicki

Lianne

Jan.

Lyn

Sue

Val

I'm so proud of my beginners!  Their cards are awesome !

September Classes

Galaxy slider card !
Well it was time to get down and messy on Sunday to create this first card . I'd like to give credit to Alisa Tilsner for the video tutorial I followed to design my card . You can find Alisa on Pinterest or Facebook .

The next card was one I'd seen on the internet  a while ago and I cannot recall who designed it . I created my own background using the mountains from In the Meadow and the dinosaur tracks form the No Bones About It set . The sentiment was created using Labeler Alphabet stamp set . Early Espresso and ink and card stock was also used along with Very Vanilla .

The Santa thinlit die was used to creat this gorgeous card and there are many versions on Pinterest so I have no idea whose brilliant idea this was ! So cute .

September Scrapbooking Class

Some simple pages this month . Interesting for me to discover my ladies didn't know how to cut their matts ! Good to know , so now they do know how ummm hopefully !

These pages used Touches of Texture , Timeless Texture stamp sets , Sunshine Wishes and Cupcake Cutouts framelits , Sweet Sugar Plum , Early Espresso and Kraft Cardstock.
My grandaughter , Aaliyah , always loved the cakes I produced for her birthday . Some happy memories here !

Make themed / Father's Day Class

What a fun filled day of classes today. . Three male themed cards were created amongst a lot of laughter, jokes and fun ! I wonder if Betty will come to the next class hey Coral ! Lol !
The first card was a Z fold card totally cased from Dawn Griffiths here  https://m.youtube.com/watch?list=PLaVIwT2cPTXzFE-BAcKnOHKr7gpWW1vCY&v=2csdKdcKv7c
This is such a great card and really quite easily put together . It was my first attempt at a Z fold  card and everyone loved how it turned out . The stamp set used was One Wild Ride .
I hope my ladies are well rested and ready for Scrap booking tomorrow afternoon ! What a busy week it's been ! 😀

Next was a nautical themed card using Seaside  Shore and this card was cased from Patty Bennet here http://www.pattystamps.com/pattys_stamping_spot/2016/07/seaside-shore-fishy-card-with-embossing-folder.html
I love how Patty showed how to stamp right onto the DSP and create a gorgeous card ! So fun and so clever !
For the last card I wanted my ladies to colour using blender pens because we've yet to do that in class . The boots from the set called Country Livin ' were stamped in Basic Gray ink and coloured with blender pens and Crumb Cake re inkers . Layering circle dies were used to cut out the boots and the matt for the boots .

Thoughtful Branches for my beginners . 😀

My beginners were up for a challenge this week ! I wanted to showcase the Thoughtful Branches bundle because it is only available until the end if this month . I wanted my ladies to see how awesome it is ! It was their first try with the Big Shot and they used it to dry emboss and die cut and created some fantastic cards . They did , however , mention they were exhausted and would require a Nanna nap afterwards !
In all seriousness they all coped extremely well and were asking what date our next class will be . It was decided it'd be on the 13 th and 15 th of September , due to the school holidays . If you would like to attend one of my classes just let me know so I can prepare a kit for you . For my regular classes ladies , I forgot to mention , if you bring a friend new to me  you will get your next class free - you must let me know so that I have enough kits ready though .
These are the cards we created amongst  a lot of fun and laughter .

For my homework later that evening , even though totally exhausted , I created this card that I had already demonstrated the sponging on by sponging the bottom section in Dapper Denim ink and stamping the bridge image from a set I had yet to use , Wherever You Go . I was stoked with the result and loooovee this card ! We used the new sponge brayers for thus technique ! Fun !

THOUGHTFUL BRANCHES CLASS

Wow ! What a great day stamping today ! Eight ladies joined me to create three cards using the Thoughful Branches bundle . They loved it so much and almost all attendees purchased this great bundle which is only available for purchase until 31 st August . Contact me to learn more  .
The first card created uses Rich Razzleberry  , Crumb Cake , Wild Wasabi , Whisper White and Sweet Sugar Plum cardstock , S. Sugar Plum , Rich Razzleberry and White Craft ink . The Crumb Cake piece was embossed using the Brick Wall TEF and then a White craft ink pad was dragged across it to give a rendered effect . The retired emboss resist type DSP was coloured with a sponge roller and S. S Plum ink . The flower was given a Wink Of Stella to give it a nice finish .

We also created a cute apple tree using Real Red and Old Olive this time . To save time I punched out the apples with the Tree Bulider punch - there is a die in the set but the punch  was just that bit quicker .Doesn't it look gorgeous ?  Such a versatile set !

Lastly we did a little sponging and only die cut some leaves . I saw a similar card somewhere but I'm unable to find it now to give credit so if it was yours give me a shout out and I'll certainly give credit because I didn't change much at all it was so lovely.  Thankyou 😀😀😀
We used the Petal Burst TEF which is fast becoming a favourite of mine . Then the trees were simply stamped in Basic Black Archival and sponged using Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy . Some silver glimmer leaves , retired Pool Party glimmer ribbon and some silver thread finished this card off beautifully .

I'll be running a male themed class on Saturday 20 th August and have had such a great response I will be having a morning and an afternoon class that day . Contact me if you're keen to get those Father's Day or guys birthday cards sorted ! Beginners most welcome .
Everyone was delighted to also be taking home a Holiday Catalogue .  Contact me to get yours now . This catalogue goes live on 1 st September .
Here I am reading mine which arrived on Friday ! Lol !
