WOW TRIPLE POP UP FUN FOLD USING MEANT TO BEE !

 Hello everyone ! I am so excited to share with you a very cute fun fold I cam up with ! I loved Jay's card ( Mitosu Crafts ) & then remembered I had made a card with a very similar mechanism a few years ago so I set to work figuring out the dimensions to see if it would work for the card instead of going to the effort of making a seperate mechanism for the side pop up parts . It worked ! I also skipped another step by using my DSP as my insert so there was no need to cut seperate pieces for it !Smart hey ?

Here's the cards I made .












Now for the stuff & digits ! 
Card base 21 cm x 10.5 cm , scored in half @ 10.5 cm
Insert piece 20 cm x 10 cm score in half , fold in half then place a tick mark  3.5 cm in from each side of the fold line as well as 3.5 cm down from the fold line on the edge of the paper .
With your paper still folded score diagonally between  each tick mark . Gently fold with your fingers , decide which side you want to be showing , burnish fold lines & adhere to the inside of your card - DO NOT put any adhesive in the mechanism area .
The mechanism for the front pop up us the same size as Jay's 1/2 " x 3 " scored @ 1/2 " , 1 1/4 " , 2 " & 2 1/2 " . Fold into a double triangle piece for the stand , watch video for clarification . If you do not have the Perennial Postage dies , your pop up pieces will be cut @ 1 11/16 " x 2 3/4 " ( same as Jay's )

MIXED FLORALS

HEART SHAPED !

 Hello friends . I hope you are all keeping cool today ! I know I am in front of the AC as I type this blog ! It's too hot for me today , 33.9 C .& climbing ! I took a walk to the post office this morning & that was about as energetic I was for the day ! I only live about two blocks away so it's not really worth getting the car out , besides it does me good to get a little bit of exercise & fresh air .

So yesterday I broke out my  Heart Shaped bundle to create some cards . This bundle is a free offering during Sale bration - January & February , when you spend $200 Au .

Here's my 1 st card . Can you spot the three other SAB products on my card ? The Fresh Freesia seam binding ribbon , Purple Adhesive backed sequins & Starstruck  embossing folder which are all free with a $100 order . Whether you've been stamping for a while or just starting out this is a great way to build your stash !



My next card is an extended gatefold which I have designed & worked out my own measurements for .



Here's the measurements in case you'd like to make one of these yourself . 
Base 28.5 cm , score @ 4.5 cm & 9 cm , turn around & repeat for opposite side .
Tab pieces 10.7 cm x 5 cm .
The piece of artwork on the front measures 12 cm x 8 cm
