SERENE LOVE DSP

 Hey stamping friends ! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas ! I had a relaxing day & it was wonderful to spend some time with my granddaughter , Aaliyah . 

So this afternoon I played with some newly released DSP called Serene Love .

For my first card I created a different type of fold , I'm not sure what you would call it so go take a look at my video & you will see for yourself .

This one was my first try at this fold 

I began with a standard sized card base - 14.9 cm x 21 cm scored @ 10.5 cm , I then die cut the edge on the ar right side  using the leafy die from Around the Bend , then adhered a 14.4 cm  x 20 cm, scored @ 10 cm piece inside this so that it opens to the left . The fussy cut flowers from the DSP were sponged in the centre with Boho Blue ink & adhered to the front centre & inner parts of the card . FYI at the time this post went live the Around The Bend dies were still available on the last chance list reduced from $58 down to $29 , be quick & grab your set now , you'll love these ! The Starstruck embossing folder is hidden away on page 7 of the SAB catalogue & is free with a $100 order ( Australian residents ) ! Yay !

M next card is  a diamond gatefold , a new fold to me ! I followed Really Robin Stamps template but altered it slightly so as to be able to make it my usual metric size . Please follow the video so that you can recreate these cards . Begin with a 12 inch x 14.4 cm piece ( or whatever size length you'd like your card to be ) of DSP & score it @ 2 ', 4 " , 8 " & 10 ' OR just 2" & 4 " both sides as shown . Then mark 2 " down on both edges & cut from this pencil mark to the 1 st score line diagonally . Adhere these cut off  pieces to the bottom edges giving the illusion of a diamond ! I used the two largest Stylish Shapes rectangles to decorate my card adhering only to one side , than I added fussy cut flowers  from the DSP , heat embossed my sentiment, added bling  & my card was complete !

LOVELY & SWEET

 Hello stampers .

This afternoon I created a lovely sympathy card using the Lovely & Sweet stamps & dies along with some of our new special release DSP . The paper I used today is called Refreshed Beauty , formally known as Blackberry Beauty . The colours are Granny Apple Green , Flirty Flamingo & Peach Pie - such an unusual combination of colours but it works ! PUZZLE SLIDER CARDS !

 Hello friends .

Yesterday , for my Facebook Live video , I created a stunning puzzle slider card ! I have never made one of these before & couldn't believe how easy peasy they are ! So , of course , you know me I made four !

Here are the measurements you need to make one of theses yourself & if you are still making Christmas cards this one is perfect because its so easy but looks like you've spent a lot of time making it !

Begin with a piece of cardstock that measures 9 1/2 " x 4 " , score it at 1" & 2" each end of the long side , then fold it so that its  z fold .

Mat pieces are 1" x 1 1/4 " (2)

                         1" x 2 1/4". (2)

                         1" x 3 1/4  "(2)

                         1" x 4 1/4"  (2)    

DSP measures 3" x 5 " , cut into 3/4" strips length wise , watch video for clarity , then cut @ 

1" , 2 " , 3 " & 4 ".

Assemble as shown in video .

I watched 'It begins with ink & paper " to get the measurements & the method .
