This afternoon during my Facebook Live I created a cute card using the On The Farm bundle . I realised I had not used this set without the matching DSP which went away when SAB ended ! So it was time to get my thinking cap on & come up with a design .
I hope you like my card 7 the other samples I've created too .
My card base is a standard sized 21 cm x 14.85 cm scored @ 10.5 cm
Next layer is 14.3 cm x 10 cm
Basic White is 13.9 cm x 9.5 cm
DSP square is 10.5 cm scored diagonally down the centre .
I also used Fragrant Flowers & This Birthday Piggy ! So stinking cute hey !
This afternoon I created this pocket card for my Facebook Live broadcast .
I had previously created this card using Imperial measurements
Then I created this version using some pansies left over from a class & altered the measurements to suit our metric sized cards .
My base measures 14 cm x 21 cm scored in half @ 10.5 cm .
Make tick marks @ 7.4 on all sides of the base except the folded edge .
Score as shown .
DSP is 9.5 x 9.5 cm cut in half & then one piece is cut in half again . the long piece of DSP measures 14.2 x 2 .5 cm , card stock strips 12.5 cm x 2 cm .
I used the Two Tone Flora bundle for my card I created during my video .
This afternoon I created this card after casing it from Lorna Carter on You Tube . I used the pansies for todays card but you could use any small floral or other stamps .
Here's the measurements

This afternoon I demonstrated how I created some cards using the Lovely Layers vellum from the Annual Catalogue. I had totally forgotten I had these until I was ;putting away my DSP I used last week !
My first card uses the gorgeous koala from the Will & Sweet stamp set as well as some fussy cut leaves from the Botanical layers set .
I was dying to use my Radiating Stitches dies which arrived on Thursday ! These are found in the on line store only & will NOT be in the new Catalogue . If you happen to find that they're sold out when you try to order it will say " temporarily unavailable " & this means they WILL be restocked . If you cannot find them that indicates they are gone & not coming back . For those of you who like me to order for you I can order these for you the same as I always have but please go to the website & have a browse around so that you can get a better idea with samples shown as well !
Now to my card , I had created a version earlier as I wasn't sure if I'd receive my order in time for my Live . On that card , shown below I heat embossed the silhouette of the girl using white embossing powder . Those watching my Live preferred that look but hey I've shown you both versions so which do you prefer ? Maybe if I'd used black powder that would have been better ? I wanted to create the frame using my new dies & the Dry Brushed Metallic sheets & have it look like an aged frame .
I used the Greatest Journey & Majestic Mountain dies for this one & the clouds are fussy cut from Rain or Shine DSP . I thought the grey/ black clouds perfect for the night sky I was wanting to create .
This one uses the mountain dies too as well as some foliage fluff from Flowers of Home dies . Hard to see but i have stamped some mountains in Garden Green on the background also .
Nested Friends using the same designed sheet as my koala .
These samples use some of the sheets with the oblong circle in the centre & the DSP is Design A Daydream - a hostess set from the Annual Catalogue
For a fun card I used a retired larger circle die from SU & Rain or Shine DSP
I hope I have inspired you to pull out some supplies you forgot you had as well !
Hello stampers . This afternoon I shared how I created these Sunburst cards with a variety of papers & measurements . How cute is this rabbit ! I used 2 x 12 cm x 5 cm pieces of Rain or shine DSP cut inhale on the diagonal to create this card during my Facebook Live this afternoon . What a great way to used up some of that DSP we all have loads of !
I used Butterfly Kisses DSP for this one , chose my centre point & designed as a different style card by cutting off 5 cm from the standard A 4 sized card . My greeting is from Garden Birdhouses .
This card was inspired by Megan Daves & I used the Flowers 7 More host DSP from the mini catalogue . Love it .I believe my strips were 1/2 " but as explained in the video it doesn't really matter just have fun ! If you like things precise visit Di Barnes blog as she has explored this technique further . I believe I may have used one of her templates for this card but I created quite a few so I really cannot recall . i as having too much fun !
This one uses the Tea Boutique DSP from the AC. The bunny is from Rain or Shine DSP
I've used retired DSP for this one , Simply Marbelous & the same measurements as my first card .
This DSP is also retired Sunshine & Rainbows DSP for this card & my pieces were 5 cm x 15 cm . I needed more pieces as explained in the video .
Butterfly Kisses again for the next 2 cards , it's so bright & happy , I love it !
This one is using the retired Fitting Florets DSP . See how well all of those designs work together ! Stampin' Up ! is amazing at colour co ordination .
To see how I created these cards please visit You Tube & watch the replay of my video .
