this morning I created this fun fold  card casing Jeanette's gorgeous Christmas card I received last week in my letter box ! Don't you just love happy mail ?

DECEMBER CLASS

Hello stampers ! Yesterday was my last class for the year & five lovely ladies joined me in creating these cards !There re some sneak peeks here with the new DSP coming soon as well as the new Stippled Rose bundle ! The first card created uses the Around The Bend dies yo create a type of gatefold card . I used the new Flight & Airy DSP coming soon to create a simple card with lots of layers . The bird was simply busy cut for the DSP ! Easy peasy ! 

Another two samples I created to show the versatility of this design cased from Pinterest with no instructions . Here I have used the new Nature's Sweetness DSP to show that it's not all about bees ! I also used some retired in colour glimmer paper for the flowers & leaves which are entirely from the ATB dies .

For my last sample I used some of the Perennial Lavender DSP together with the Stippled Roses dies .

This next card was using the Eclipse technique which we have not done for a while . It was tricky for some to get their ad around until they saw me demonstrate the technique ! We used the Cheerful Daisy bundle to create a simple but stepped up card .

 

This was another sample I completed after class .

Last ,but certainly not least , was this card in which we also reminded ourselves of techniques we'd not used for a while ! Some were not delighted with the need to fussy cut the little deer to create a mask  ! However they were delighted with the end result because we have not used the masking technique in a while . I also have to say , some were not happy about having to tear their paper but everyone created an amazing card that they were proud of !

 

LET'S MAKE A CUTE BOX TO GIFT OUR CARDS IN !

 Hello everyone . This morning for my Facebook Live video I adapted a box made by Really Robin Stamps so that i was able to fit our metric sized cards & envelopes in it . I can get 10 cards & envelopes into these beauties !

Here's how 

Base 9 1/4 " x 11 " scored each side of the 9 1/4 " side @ 1 1/4 & then each side of the 11" side @ 4 7/8 " - watch video for an explanation of how to do this .

Lid 5 1/4 " x 6 3/4 " scored @ 1/2 ' & 1 3/4 " with the short side to the top of the trimmer . 

Decorate with your favourite DSP & add a tab closure as shown in the video .

MERRY & BOLD DSP - NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS !

 Hello stampers !

Yesterday for my Facebook Live I created an angled tri fold card using the Merry & Bold DSP from the mini catalogue but instead of a Christmas card I made a birthday card ! 

I used a piece of Blueberry Bushel for my base 7 a piece of the gorgeous striped sheet of DSP cut @ 8.5 cm x 14.3 cm . If you'd like more information about my card please feel free to email me .

I have used the Beautiful Balloons bundle to decorate this card as well as the next sample .

A Christmas version as well for those of you who are still creating your Christmas cards ! How fun !

NOVEMBER CLASS

 Hello stampers ! In today’s class we used the Winter Owls bundle to create this super fun fold card !

           

Here are some more ideas for the fun fold !

We also created this gorgeous Christmas card using Around The Bend dies & Love for You stamps & dies . I adore this card !

Our 3 rd card used the Merriest Tress bundle , Radiating Stitches dies & an embossing folder of choice . Everyone had fun & all of the cards created were just gorgeous!

Winter Owls

Hello stamping friends !

 This evening for my Facebook Live I played with the amazing Winter Owls bundle . I am loving this set so much & the ideas keep flowing ! 

Here are the two cards I created tonight 

                          

This is my practice card where I’ve used the silver foil sheet of the DSP which you will find in On Line Exclusives on my website .

These are some samples I created using one of the folds created by in a class I took , it was designed by Alisa Tilsner . As you will see , this set coordinates well with almost any DSP you wish to pair it with !

 Hello stamping friends . This afternoon I created this card using the bundle called Around The Bend , some dies from the Paper Florist set & Magical Meadow set .

I showed how I very easily water coloured my thick basic white card stock to created my elements .

JOLLY WORDS

Today I demonstrated three ways to use the Jolly Words stamp set .

This stamp set allows one to create a simple card very easily . I have water painted the first card , heat embossed the second one & used the emboss resist technique for my third card .

SUSPENDED BOOK FOLD CARDS

 Todays class was so much fun ! 

We created two suspended book fold cards . These were full cards , not just card fronts & you can find measurements for this style of card on the internet .

A STARRY FUN FOLD !

 Hi everyone.

This afternoon I created this very starry fun fold . It packs a wow factor & is so easy , just my type of card ! We will be creating cards using this fold at my all day Christmas class next month on the 7 th October which just so happens to be World Card making day ! If you’d like to know more please reach out to me .

Ok this card is just so easy it’s embarrassing! Score a 12 “ x 6 “ piece of card stock @ 2 “ , 4 “ , 6 “ & 8 “ on the long side . 

Flip it around to the short side & cut from  the 2 “ score line to the 6 “ score line , repeat for the other side as shown in my video . If you’d like to see where the stars come from & how the hybrid embossing folder works please watch last weeks video .
