CHRISTMAS STAMP A STACK CLASS

Hello stamping friends . For this class we used the "Spilt Four " technique to create 12 cards & then some simple stamping to create another six cards , equalling 18 cards .

I first saw this technique on the Creative Treehouse You Tube channel & my downline < Rhonda & I were instantly addicted as you will be too !

I cased my first design from CT 7 then designed two more versions for my class as well as several others because once you start you can't stop !

Here are some more versions of the split four technique which have not been made up into cards yet .

As you can see I kept it simple , SIP , & stamped my greetings directly onto the cards .

Thanks so much for visiting my blog . I hope I have inspired you to get out your stamps & inks to see what you can create with this technique !

CREATING CARDS WITH VELLUM BASES

Hello stampers . For my Facebook Live I wanted to share with you how I created some cards using the gorgeous Snow flake Specialty Vellum as my card bases !

For these cards

Begin with a standard card base 21 cm x 14.85 cm

Score @ 10.5 cm , move across to 13 cm & cut .

Cut this piece into 3 x 2.5 cm pieces .

Adhere vellum to underside of cut edge & sandwich in between 2.5 cm pieces top & bottom .

Vellum measures 7.5 cm x 14 .85 cm

Decorate as desired .

For my next card i have taken a piece of this gorgeous DSP , cut it to my desired card base size , scored & folded it .

I've used the Peace To You stamp set to stamp my image then cut around it with my trimmer leaving a white border . This is adhered to the card front , then a piece of card stock the exact same size is adhered to the back of this piece as well as the inside so that the adhesive is hidden . Are you going to give this a try ? Watch the video for further explanation

Thanks for visiting my blog today xx

DOUBLE DRY EMBOSSING & MORE !

Hello stamping friends .

Yesterday afternoon at my new time of 4 pm on Friday EST I created several different cards to show you how to get more from your embossing folders . The folder I was focused on was Leaf Fall  & I am delighted to tell you that it's carrying over !

This card was embossed with the Leaf Fall folder which I  sponged with Starry Sky ink, & I added multi purpose glue , let it dry until clear but still sticky & then I added my gold gilding flakes . Some stunning gold & vanilla ribbon sets off this gorgeous card don't you think ?

My next cards are very simple but oh so stunning ! Simply emboss your foil & add ribbon !

Silver foil & Pool Party card stock & ribbon

Rose Gold foil , Petal Pink card stock & gold ribbon

This one is double embossed with both the clouds folder ( I finished it off after the video ) then Leaf Foil . I used the gorgeous metallic mesh ribbon on this one & paired it with Starry Sky for a different look . It looks much better IRL .

For my next card , I double embossed Basic White card stock with the Timber folder , then with Sprigs & Twigs folder , sponged on Starry Sky then added my decorative elements from both Framed Florets & Ranunculus Romance stamps & dies . I absolutely adore this card !

This card was the inspiration for the blue card above ! I was looking for some Early Espresso card stock to pair with my sponged double embossed background when I stumbled across this piece I had already die cut ! It looked so stunning I just had to use it not caring that it pretty much covered my beautiful background ! Isn't it gorgeous ?
The foliage on both cards is the beautiful white velvet together with foil - silver for the blue & copper for the brown & how gorgeous do those leaves look ?

Now it was time to add some colour in different ways ! You can view the technique in my video which I shall link below . I am stoked with how this one came out too ! I have not used my Friends Are Like Sea Shells set for some time . I love how using different techniques makes you go to your stash to explore which items you can utilise .

This sentiment was heat embossed in gold before the card mat was run through first with the brick walk folder then the Leaf Fall folder . I applied some versa mark ink to the embossed areas & then gold heat embossed . Then I added some Sahara Sand ink to the bricked areas with my brush , spritzed & dried that then continued as you'll see in the video with my Merry Merlot , Crushed Curry & GrannyApple Green inks . It's another way to add colour to your embossing if you don't wish to spend time colouring in .

Here are some more samples using the double dry embossed technique , some of which ink has been added .
Highland Heather with Gorgeous Grape & Split Textures dies .

Parakeet Party with Starry Sky , Time worn Type & Elegant Eucalyptus folders & Splendid Thoughts bundle .

Balmy Blue with Highland Heather , double embossed with Into the Clouds & Leaf Fall folders .

Timeworn Type , Elegant Eucalyptus , Pear Pizzaz & Garden Green , Bottled With Happiness & Framed Occasions stamp sets .

Timber & Eucalyptus folder , Parakeet Party , Starry Sky & Artistic dies

Timeworn Type , Elegant Eucalyptus , Framed Florets , Early Espresso , Crumb cake & Basic White

Into the Clouds & Leaf Fall folders , white craft ink , Garden Green card stock

They are so versatile that you can create loads of different cards & scrap book pages with them . I’ve filled my shaker with For Everything Fancy Sequins .

I hope you like my card .

EMBOSSING FOLDER TECHNIQUES

 Hi stampers .

This afternoon I created two cards using some embossing folders differently . I only realised AFTER I had finished my live broadcast that I had adhered my card matt with the hearts upside down! Oh dear ! I then spent the next ten minutes fixing my error ! Ha ha , it looks much better now ! It's just as well mistakes are easily fixed !

If you'd like see how these were created you can watch my video on You Tube here

Bye for now xx

DOUBLE POINT CARDS

Hello stampers  . This afternoon I demonstrated a double point card for my Facebook Live video . I was inspired by the lovely Judy who brought her cards to our crafty get together last Sunday & very kindly shared her tutorial which she had written out . We had a little get together on Sunday to brighten our spirits & forget about all the devastation around us for a couple of hours . Everyone had a fabulous time crafting & chatting & we welcomed the lovely Glenda to our group .

I thought I'd revisit the card fold using some current products for those who wanted to create it but didn't have the retired products used by Judy .

If you'd like to see how I created these cards please visit You Tube to watch my video .

Card base 14.85 cm x 21 cm scored @ 10. 5 cm

DSP 10 cm x 3 inches scored @ 1 inch on the 3 inch side .

Adhered to a piece of card stock which measures 10 cm x 14 .4 cm
