Hello stamping friends . I tonight's Facebook Live I demonstrated a Popping Flap card . These are so much fun & not difficult to create . I used a tutorial by Jan Brown which I found on You Tube
Here are the measurements
Out of a sheet of A 4 cardstock you will cut a 5 " x 10 5/8 " piece & score it in 1/2 @ 5 " on the longest side .
Cut a 3 1/4 "x 10 1/4 " piece & score in 1/2 @ 4 3/4 "video
You'll have a piece not quite 1 1/2 " which you need to cut 3 " long .
Take this 3 " piece & score 3/8 " both long ends , then score @ 1/8 " al the way along , see video .
On the longest side of the 10 5/8 " x 5 score all the way down @ 3/8 " on both sides in the portrait position & then cut on this line both sides on the longest sides .See video .
Assemble as shown in the video .
My layers were
Front matt 4 3/4 x 4 , DSP 4 1/2 x 3 3/4 "
Layer 1 matt 4 1/8" x 3 ", DSP 3 7/8 " x 2 3/4 "
Layer 2 matt 4 1/2 " x 3 " DSP 4 1/4 " X 2 3/4 "
Layer 3 matt 5 1/4 " x 3 " DSP 5 " x 2 3/4 "
