ADORABLE OWLS POPPING FLAP CARD

Hello stamping friends . I tonight's Facebook Live I demonstrated a Popping Flap card . These are so much fun & not difficult to create . I used a tutorial by Jan Brown which I found on You Tube

Here are the measurements

Out of a sheet of A 4 cardstock you will cut a 5 " x 10 5/8 " piece & score it in 1/2 @ 5 " on the longest side .

Cut a 3 1/4  "x 10 1/4 " piece & score in 1/2 @ 4 3/4 "video

You'll have a piece not quite 1 1/2 " which you need to cut 3 " long .

Take this 3 " piece & score 3/8 " both long ends , then score @ 1/8 " al the way along , see video .

On the longest side of the 10 5/8 " x 5 score all the way down @ 3/8 " on both sides in the portrait position & then cut on this line both sides on the longest sides .See video .

Assemble as shown in the video .

My layers were

Front matt 4 3/4 x 4 , DSP 4 1/2 x 3 3/4 "

 Layer 1  matt 4 1/8" x 3 ", DSP  3 7/8 "  x 2 3/4 "

Layer 2 matt 4 1/2 " x 3 " DSP 4 1/4 " X  2 3/4 "

Layer 3 matt 5 1/4 " x 3 " DSP  5 " x 2 3/4 "

KYLIE'S INTERNATIONAL BLOG HOP DECEMBER 2022

Hello stamping friends !I was  both delighted & honoured to be invited to take part in Kylie's International Blog Hop .

Here is the card I wish to share with you today .

I created this card by adding ink pad direct to embossing folder , firstly with Tahitian Tide & then I added splotches of Starry Sky direct from the ink pas as well  . I love these two colours together ! I spritzed my shimmer paper & my folder with water before running through the die cutting & embossing machine with the Sea Shells embossing folder .
I simply added a double bow created with metallic woven ribbon & to complete my card . I embellished it with the gorgeous Opal Rounds ( I think they look like bubbles ) & some Faux Sea Grass Elements to represent rocks adorned my sentiment which is white heat embossed onto Starry Sky card stock .

I hope you like my card & that you will vote for me !

ARTISTICALLY INKED FOR FACEBOOK LIVE

Hi stampers . I was excited to share the cards I created using the Artistically Inked stamp set that I have not used for a while . I was amazed at all the different cards I could create with this set !

First I stamped this card using Tahitian Tide & Starry Sky . I applied some multipurpose glue to the card allowed it to dry until clear then applied my gilded flakes . Here is the card I created today & the one I had created previously in Polished Pink & Cherry Cobbler. Isn't the blue one stunning ?

The next card was cased from Pinterest . It was , I believe , a card by Deb Valder . Here is my version using the beautiful long leaf die . I cut it from White Velvet sheets & coloured it with my blending brushes .

For this card I used Fresh Fresia & added Blackberry Bliss to the centres with my blending brushes . I used the Pretty Prints DSP & for my blue version below I used Sun Prints .

The next card I demonstrated was cased from the very talented Jay Soriano of Mitosu Crafts . You can see how I did this in my video .

Here are several more cards I've created using this stamp set & coordinating dies .

Thanks for looking , you can view my video here if interested
