BLACK MAGIC & JOSEPH'S COAT TECHNIQUE CLASS

Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time to read my blog.
Today was my first product based class . We created two cards using the Black Magic technique and then a card that uses the Joseph's Coat technique but with  a twist .
Black Magic is so easy , just white heat emboss your image and colour over the white using your blends .
here are the two cards that were created :

Finally we created this card using the Joseph's Coat technique . I cased this card from Kylie Page and you can see her version here . I chose to use the flowers from the Perennial Birthday stamp set . You need to cut a template from a sticky note and then sponge on your colours , sponging the green and pinks in the appropriate areas .  Next clear heat emboss the flowers matching the flowers and leaves to their appropriate colours Then take a Memento Black stamp  pad and wipe it over the whole card mat and wipe off the excess black ink using a tissue . I love this technique , it is very effective and addictive ! That's it for today , thank you to the ladies who came along to class today , you were so pleased with your beautiful cards and that's all that matters to me !

Just a reminder that SAB ends next Saturday and the Blossoming Basket set will be gone so if you love it and can't live without it you will need to place a $180 order before shipping to get this bundle ! The embossing folder will , however , be available to purchase in the new annual catalogue .

BRUSHO FUN !

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog !
This post is all about brusho ! Have you seen it yet ? its hidden away on page 26 of the Occasions catalogue . Tiny crystals activate when you add water and the colour is far more vibrant than you will get just using you inks .
Here are the cards I created as my samples and everyone chose which one they preferred to create .

The mermaid card was cased from Maria Willis .

Springtime Foils is a DSP pack you can earn free with  $90 order and we used it for these cards in class .

I was playing with a new technique just last night and came up with this card - totally changes the look don't you think ! I coloured the flowers then swiped an ink pad of the whole piece ! I used Rich Razzeleberry and Old Olive blends and a Bermuda Bay ink pad .

The final cards  created were male cards and here were a variety of cards to choose from . Some ladies even chose to flip the DSP and create a different look again !

That's all I have for you today but remember to book in for my Black Ice class on April 19 th or 21 st !
