PANDA PARTY TIME !

I warned you I could not get enough of these cute guys !  Tonight I want to share 2 more cards I have created today .
The first card I cased from BJ . Peters . I love that when you join Stampin Up  everyone is more than happy to share their creations . BJ even has a tutorial on her blog here . I decided to use Flirty Flamingo for my card - although I love this colour I neglect to use it often . I also , being a lazy stamper decided to use my 2 1/2 inch punch instead of a 3 " circle framelit . When i put my card together I realised why I needed the larger circle but heck I told you I was lazy so I went with it and adjusted my card to suit ! I was putting away my stamps from a previous crafternoon when I saw the ground stamp from Sheltering Tree and decided it'd be perfect for my ground ! I adore this card !What do you think ?

For this next card I stamped the leaves from the Petal Palette set onto my  Lemon Lime Twist matt , ran it through the big shot with the Woodland Embossing folder , stamped and fussy cut my pandas and placed them in the trees ! The sentiment is die cut with a cute label die in the new Petals and More thinlits . Notice how I stamped the back of the envelope with those gorgeous leaves - a tip I picked up while watching endless you tube videos as I rested my sore back a couple of days ago ! I'm sorry I cannot recall which lovely demonstrator it was . If you are reading this and it was you I thank you so much !

PANDAS FOR A NEW BABY !

 Hello everyone ! I have a confession to make ! I have been working on samples for my catalogue launch on January 14 th but I keep going back to the cute Party Panda set . Tonight I'd like to share with you two baby cards I have created using this set .
For the pink card I used In Colour DSP , layered my design and stamped and snipped out my panda .The cute greeting comes from the set called  A Little Wild , in the annual catalogue . The greetings were die cut using one of my favourite framelits , Stitched Framelits , I  layered this onto a Powder Pink  die cut from the layering circles framelits .

I have used the gorgeous DSP called Sweet Soiree , don't you love it ! At first I was afraid to cut it but then I remembered Kylie Bertucci's catch cry , LOVE IT ,CHOP IT ! So I did exactly that ! Can you spot another new product ? It is the Whisper White 1/4 " Organza ribbon , easy to miss on page 23 of the Occasions catalogue . I'd like to give credit to Diane Cavaness on Pinterest for the inspiration for these cards !

LAMP POST NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS !

Hello everyone ! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas ! I sure did ! Its great to catch up with family and friends during this festive season .
Life has been crazy busy and I did not get to share the projects created in my last class earlier this month .
There are so many gorgeous sets it the holiday catalogue its hard to choose which to use .
This class began with creating a box to hold the candles the ladies  decorated  in the  previous class . We used a tutorial by Crafty Caroline here and these are the boxes we created .A matching tag was also created for this gift . This box could also be used to gift a jar of jam or relish .Thank you Caroline .

The next project used the Season to Sparkle set . That lovely chandelier could be used for wedding cards and more ! I wanted to share a technique I had recently seen used in a different way with my ladies . You can check out Kim Jolley's video  here . Thank you Kim. Here is our card .

Of course I had to throw in just one more card ! I love this one I cased from Sofi Edgren-Daniels on Pinterest . Love it !
