What a fun challenge ! Thank you for the opportunity to create a card for this challenge Jessie !

I immediately thought of sun, sea and surf when I saw this challenge . I began stamping my images , water colouring them and then water coloured the background . Aiming for a little texture for my sand , I used the water image from the High Tide set , masking my thong and bucket images first . I loved the effect . Hi once again I have a cute card created for a challenge . This was a little tricky but once I had my mojo going I was inspired by way too many options ! I chose to case another car of mine using the challenge colours here !

Flowers are water coloured in Peekaboo Peach and Soft Sky , Soft Sky for the cushion , Early Espresso seat and Smoky Slate leaves and bird ,oh and the cat is a wash of Smoky Slate with some Early espresso highlights !

I always love to give the inside of my cards some attention but do not always show how I've done so because when designing for my classes I do not adhere the inside but pop it inside the cello bag. This enables  class ladies  to see both sides of the card without needing to remove it from the cello bag and my card stays protected ! Thats all for now but I will be back real soon I have two cards in the mail and wish to show them to you as soon as the recipients tell me they have arrived in the post !

                 Challenge #207 - Sketch

This sketch had me thinking ! That's a good thing right !  I took out my Swirly Bird dies intending to use the die just to cut the curve and then a light bulb moment ahhhh what if this was the waves that my little boat could sit upon ! From there the card just came together on its own ! I stamped the die cut wave pieces as well as the Bermuda Bay base in Emerald Envy , Island Indigo and Bermuda bay . Clouds and sky are stamped using Soft Sky from the Lift Me Up stamp set and both clouds and waves were given a touch of Wink Of Stella .

COLOUR INKSPIRATION

 Welcome to the Colour Inkspiration challenge . This time we are using the colours listed above . After being totally stumped on these colours I cruised the blog hop and looked at all of the wonderful projects created by the design team . I began to think of purple mountain ranges and so this card was designed ! I also wanted  to create something totally different than all of the beautiful floral designs . I am not fond of Wisteria Wonder stamped at full strength so this design was the perfect opportunity for some water colouring ! Soft Sky was used for the sky - funny that ! I wanted the water a different tone so blended some Soft Sky with some Mint Macaron , the mountains are of course Wisteria Wonder , the grass a blend of Mint Macaron and Garden Green and I used some Crumb Cake for the deer. Using my white gel pen I added accents to the flowers ! Not sure if this card needed the Basic Black twine but couldn't help myself !

I had fun designing this card and I am combining two challenges ! I played around with my DSP until I was happy with my choices and then it was obvious I needed a cupcake stamped to pop  in the square ! I have used Sweet Cupcake and coordinating framelits. I used Calypso Coral and was surprised that the ink that toned in the best to add a lighter shade was Flirty Flamingo . WISH was cut three times in Pool Party, Calyspo Coral and Chocolate Chip . I mounted these on top of each other , slightly off setting them for added interest and then gave them a coat of glue using my fine tip glue pen  - a shout out to my good friend Kelly Kent for reminding me of this tip ! An important tip to remember is not to lose the dot for your i when you die cut !

Welcome back ! Today's card was inspired by the sketch above . I have cased my paisley owl from the very talented Bronwyn Eastley here
Recognise the DSP I have used ? It is By The Shore ! I love how well it coordinates with my design . My funky owl sits on a branch created from the Best Birds stamp set and cut out with the matching die . I was struggling to find some eyes for this cute guy and finally decided on popping some enamel shapes on top of the white perfect accents ! Cool huh ?

PP328 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Jaydee

Yet another challenge you say ? Well I just looooveeee flowers and all things pretty so this is one challenge I was NOT going to pass on ! 

This card is so bright and cheerful it makes me happy to look at it ! I had been wanting to use my Special Reason stamps and dies so this was the prefect opportunity ! This clean and simple card is fairly self explanatory . I have used Melon Mambo, Tempting  Turquoise , Pumpkin Pie , Daffodil Delight and Cucumber Crush . 1 ST BIRTHDAY FOR ALLIRA

WWYS Challenge #100 // Number of Years.
I am entering my scrapbook layout for this challenge to use the Number of Years dies .

Today I wanted my ladies to experience the ease of use of the So Detailed thinlet dies and of course just how stunning the Falling In Love DSP is !
I chose some gorgeous photos of my great granddaughter , Allira for my layout . I added Melon Mambo to my collar palette for this photo but really did not need to and could easily have adhered to the colours of the DSP Sahara Sand , Sweet Sugar Plum , Soft sky , Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla . Don't you just love the effect of those lacey dies ! I used another new set for the balloons , Balloon Pop Up thinlit dies and can see this set being oh so versatile ! Yet another new set , Sealed with love was used for the hearts . Sunshine Wishes took care of most of the lettering and the large number and letter dies took care of the title.

Some Swirly Bird dies along with some gold embossing and another new set , Cup cakes and Carousels was the perfect addition to this cute page !

CASEING THE CATTY

               CASTING THE CATTY SUNDAY CHALLENGE ON FACEBOOK

This week we are casing any project from the Cupcakes and Carousels section , pages 8 -13 of the 2017 Occasions Catalogue .
I have chosen to case the cute bag  design on page 8  but I have created a card . I had already cased this design using the same colours as in the catty but decided to to use the Tasty Treats DSP - ice creams and carousels go together right ?
I stamped my horse using Chocolate Chip ink and used Pool Party for the tent after I had masked off the horse .The sentiment and scrolls were stamped using Pear Pizzaz , Peekaboo Peach and Watermelon Wonder . I sponged the tassel for the coordinating kit in Pear Pizzazz and tied it to my Peekaboo Peach ribbon - love that ribbon ! For the banner at the base I simply cut a banner from the same DSP using my Fiesta Time framelit dies . As this DSP is a little brighter and busier than the one used in the catty I found it necessary to mount it on some Pear Pizzaz card stock to give it some definition . I just love how changing the DSP can change the whole look of the card !

Hello again everyone ! I hope you are enjoying seeing all of my samples I have created for various challenges I am playing along with . I am having so much fun  and  using products previously  unopened  !
I am so in love with the colours for this challenge and couldn't wait to join in !
My card base is Soft Sky and I have mounted some Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate over the top to give my card some definition . One of our cute new doilies is popped on top and just peeks out from under the embossed Sweet Sugar Plum layer. The vanilla lace over the top adds some texture and my die cut dragonflies look so cute  . Some Soft Sky twine from my stash with a tiny tag for the sentiment completes my card . A quote from The Notebook sets the tone for this week's challenge . This is not a Valentine's challenge it is  about love in general .
Well here's one I prepared earlier ! Ha ha ! I had this  die cut heart I had cut when creating  a shaker card for another challenge last week . It was so pretty I wanted to use it for this challenge . You can see that card here 
I went to my retired stash and discovered the Flirtatious DSP co ordinated with my die cut heart perfectly ! I die cut  a silver foil heart and mounted my coloured heart onto it , then I curled some silver twine underneath the hearts . A border of those beautiful die cut hearts, a sentiment and a cupid's arrow completed my card . If you'd like to play along or would just love to take a look at some other designs go here

                                              HSS COLOUR CHALLENGE #255

This is my first time entering this fun challenge . I love these colours but I really had to think about my design ! I decided I wanted to use my Birthday Fiesta set. Although I had used the sentiments from this set many times I was yet to use the images , streamers and banners . What fun they were to create with and I'll be pulling this set out more often now .
I began by stamping my llama using Watermelon Wonder ink on Flirty Flamingo card stock and then my cactus using Emerald Envy on Whisper White . I wanted to use the matching DSP but found the green too vivid for my design so I set about creating my own ! I used a watercolour wash which I stamped the streamers onto , some full strength and some stamped off . I was pleased with the result .Some streamers were also stamped onto the background of my art piece in all three colours and I also cut some using the framelit dies . The Watermelon Wonder DSP, Carried Away , is from SAB catalogue . Did you know you could earn products free  right now when you spend $90 before postage ? My sentiment is from Birthday Banners and I punched the balloon from the In Colour DSP stack . I hope you like my cute card ! FRESHLY MADE SKETCHES #271 - A SKETCH BY CINDY

 I am excited to join in this challenge . It really had me thinking because , as anyone who knows me will tell you , my cards are far from clean and simple !  I decided I wanted to flip the image so that I could use my border of hearts I had already cut from Sweet Sugar Plum  . I chose some Blooms and Bliss DSP and my card came together very quickly with no stamping - except for the inside ! I embossed the base piece of Sweet Sugar Plum using the new Falling Petals TEF and I have cut the striped hearts using the Love Notes framelit dies . The word love comes from Sunshine Wishes framelit dies in the AC . Some Sweet Sugar Plum ribbon centred over the wash tape and two metallic hearts complete my card . CAS Colours & Sketches

 Challenge #206 - Colours

Hello and welcome back ! I'm having so much fun joining in on lots of challenges ! I have not played along with this one before and I have to tell you this combination of colours had me thinking ! Then I remembered I had not cracked open my Paisleys & Posies set ! As this challenge is for clean and simple styled cards I decided on an emboss resist technique . I was surprised t how the Flirty Flamingo blended into the Watermelon Wonder so that it seemed to be all the one colour - lucky there was the Island Indigo to add some contrast .
I have heat embossed using White Embossing powder and several stamps , masking off the bottom section where I stamped my sentiment . I began sponging on the colours starting with Island Indigo , then Watermelon Wonder and finally Flirty Flamingo. I then stamped my sentiment and a few leaves and finished it off with some Flirty Flamingo ribbon . GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT 070 SKETCH CHALLENGE

I am excited to share with you my card I created for this challenge ! My Mixed Borders fits this challenge perfectly and I love when a card just " comes together " as you craft ! ! I adore copper and white together - so fresh and clean . The border of flowers and leaves were stamped , then the sentiment and of course all were heat embossed . I also stamped and heat embossed a few extra flowers , fussy cut them and popped them up on dimensionals and lastly added a pearl to the centre of these which was coloured using a bronze sharpie ! The Festive Textured Embossing folder makes a cute background for this simple card . I have also used some copper foil to mat my strip of Whisper White that I have embossed the design onto . Still I was not done - I took one of our new doilies and copper heat embossed it as well ! Doesn't it look so cute peeking out from under the copper ?

MOJO MONDAY480 CARD SKETCH CHALLENGE

TASTY TRUCKS MEETS MOJO MONDAY

Hello stampers and welcome to my very first entry to this challenge ! This is such a fun sketch so I decided I would create a card for my great nephew , Quinn , who will be four years old in February . I chose to crack open my Tasty Trucks SAB set from Stampin' Up! for the very first time . I wanted to use some of my  stash of DSP so pulled out my pack of Sweet Shop Specialty DSP ( retired ).  As always , I let the DSP choose the colours for me . I  used Pool Party , Calypso Coral and Island Indigo as my main colours , using small amounts of Black and Daffodil Delight for the tyres and lights . I water coloured the truck onto shimmery white cardstock and partially cut it out before die cutting with my circle framelits , layered the Calypso Coral DSP onto the Calypso Coral base ,  the ice cream DSP was mounted onto this , then the  Pool Party piece and lastly my circle with the truck and the number four - cut with the large number dies. I'm sure Quinn is going to love this little ice cream truck and I hope you do too ! I am excited to create some more cards sing this cute set so stay tuned !

Just Add Ink #343 Pop Up & Interactive

When I saw this challenge for pop up or interactive cards I couldn't wait to create this pop up card and join in ! This style of card had me intrigued and I was surprised at just how easy it was to create ! I followed a super easy tutorial by Lou Kizelman's. Thank you so much for sharing Lou ! This was so much fun to create and I have used the gorgeous DSP available free with a $90 order , before postage . I have also used the Up and Away thinlits dies . FACEBOOK CASEing THE CATTY CHALLENGE

Are you enjoying seeing all of the wonderful samples created by some very talented peeps ? I sure am ! This week the challenge is to case any sample from the SAB catalogue . I have chosen the card on page 9 using  the Delicate Lace stamp set .Then I decided to create another version stepping it up and also casing another sample on page 15 .
Here are those two sample from the catty .

I used silver embossing powder for this card with a selection of pink / red tones . It was wonderful to have such a great selection of these colours ! Thank you Stampin ' Up you're awesome ! Beginning down the bottom of my card I used these colours in this order , Blushing Bride , Sweet Sugar Plum , Rich Razzleberry , Rose Red , Flirty Flamingo and lastly Melon Mambo . I have added some embellishments using my new Love Notes framelit dies , love those hearts ! Some silver twine peeking out from underneath the sentiment and some heart shaped metallic enamel shapes and rhinestones completed this card .

For this card I used the same base and colours but cased the shaker card on page 15 and changed it up to become a shaker card ! I cut the word love using my Sunshine Wishes framelets and used my Sweet and Sassy heart framelits to cut a window in my card . I have again used the same embelishments  , hearts and arrow .

Inkspiration Card Challenge

.Today I' d like to share my cards I created for the Inkspiration card challenge . It was fun creating a design which showcased all the colours and once I started I found it hard to stop ! The ideas just kept flowing and I was loving playing with one of my new sets - the Cool Treats Bundle. When I first saw these colours they spoke ice creams to me ! Well done ladies  - great colours for this challenge ! When I began to create I did not have my Cool Treats so I started with the Between The Lines DSP which is available free with a $90 ( before postage ) order during SAB.
Here is my  first card . I very patiently coloured in the flowers using all of the six colours given to us for the challenge. I love to colour it is so relaxing ! I used my ink pads and a blender pen and then gave my project a bit of glimmer using my Wink Of Stella pen . I used three colours for the greeting and  four  different coloured ribbons . I decided to mount my card onto two matts and then onto my card base.

Yay ! My Cool Treats bundle arrived ! I wanted my ice cream sundae to be a swirl of the chosen colours and white and couldn't think how was going to achieve this look . Then I remembered the shaving cream technique ! Perfect ! I created my ice cream sundae and was thrilled with the result . The ice creams also received a lick of Stella ! I created the wafer biscuit using the striped stamp from this set then  cut it out with the candle die from the Cutie Pie set . Another technique I haven't  used in a while , the baby wipe technique , was used to stamp the letters .

I am so pleased with the effect of the ice creams on  Basic Black card stock ! I added a greeting by  heat embossing the sentiment in white . Then I layered it onto Tempting Turquoise and So Saffron DSP and finally onto a layer of Sweet Sugar Plum wash tape .

 Finally , I decidedhttp://chezzakayewandellagal.blogspot.com/2017/01/inkspiration-card-challenge.html to pull out my Confetti TEF for this one - I don't use it enough and was delighted with the result of sponging all six colours onto it !
