SCRAPBOOKING MY GORGEOUS GRANDAUGHTER !

Lovely group of ladies today for Scrapbooking and oh boy did they work hard and so did I !
Everyone was more than happy with the beautiful pages created .
For the first page I demonstrated the wax paper technique and the Bokeh technique . I'd told the ladies last week that they'd be ironing today - they thought I was joking !
The wak paper technique is similar in effect to emboss resist - you cut out your shape using waxed lunch wrap , here we used the butterfly thinlits and the striped scallop thinlit ,  then iron it onto your page with the wax side to the paper . Then you sponge and the design shows through .
The dies were also cut from Bermuda Bay C . S and used to embellish the page . Butterflies and flowers were also stamped and punched and used as embellishments.
A row of Bokeh down the side completed the page .
For the next page we used the Borderettes stamp and the emboss resist technique .
Hello You thinlit dies were used to cut the word ' happy ' in different colours . The page was sponged in pastel shades this time and and different  stamp sets were used to create a collage effect.
I hope you like my pages as much as I do !
Next class is Thursday 23 rd April when we'll make 3 cards using Hello thinlits and the matching Stamp set Crazy About You . Contact me for more details .

MOON LAKE CLASS SUNDAY 12 TH APRIL

What a lovely day I've had crafting and chatting with my ladies as they created 3 cards using the Moon Lake stamp set currently available in the Occasions catalogue .
The first card was cased for Tina Welles on Pinterest. This card use the bird stamp and the effect was achieved by sponging the layers of colour on.
Isn't it gorgeous ?
Supplies used :  Cardstock -  Sahara Sand , Basic Black , Wild Wasabi and Whisper White .
Typeset DSP
Inks - Memento Black , Sahara Sand , Wild Wasabi ,Hello Honey , Rose Red and Rich Razzleberry.
Tools - Corner Rounder Punch , Ovals dies and Decorative Label Punch , Bow Bulder Punch , Vintage Faceted  Buttons
Stamp sets - Moon Lake , Sheltering Treeand Gorgeous Grunge .
Black Bakers Twine
The next card I absolutely adore and give credit to Wendy Lee for this design - which I altered a little because I wanted to use the duck image . It is a really easy card to put together  and is again created by masking and sponging techniques.  You will notice that on one card I used the Four Feathers Stamp set and coordinating Framelits to create the feathers and on the other I used WASHI tape for a different look !

The last card  , I always leave the easiest for last , was again created with sponging and uses the boat image. Did I tell you how much I LOVE this stamp set ? This card is my own design.
The winner of the lucky door prize was, can you believe it Sharron Freeman AGAIN ? Well done Sharron drawing out your own name even ! Next class is Scrapbooking nex tSunday the 19 th and then card class on the 23 rd @ 1 pm . Contact me for details if interested .
