NOVEMBER CLASSES

Hi Stampers !

Life has been crazy busy lately and I've not had time to keep up with my blog so I have lots for you tonight !

A photo of our last Scrapbooking project. Isn't my grandson , Liam adorable ? I love these pages! I I used Gorgeous Grunge ,coloured  and White embossing powder and the stars framelits and various stamp sets from Stampin ' Up !

For today's technique class we created these three cards using techniques I've never demonstrated before.

This first card I'll call a split card ! It's really easy once you get the hang of it especially with this tutorial

I chose to use stars for my card and bling it up with the stunning Gold Glimmer paper teamed with Mossy Meadow. Bottom star is gold heat embossed onto Brushed Gold cardstock . The CONFETTI STAR PUNCH is also showcased here ! I was delighted to find a strip fitted perfectly .

The sentiment was cut using two different size ovals - separately of course we don't want to ruin our framelits ! Then the ends were flagged with the BANNER PUNCH . A rhinestone was coloured with my gold marker the heated.

These cards are so much fun and easy to put together ! I have a tip for you - before you add your confetti only adhere the circle pocket half way this will make it easier to centre your circle .

This next card is a beauty designed by Julie Gearinger - such a talented lady ! You can find her directions here : www.stampingwithjuliegearinger.blogspot.com

It uses Ornamental Pine , Lovely As A Tree and Bright and Beauitfuli stamp sets. The colours are as Julie used.

I conducted a mini quality survey at my Scrapbooking class today and am happy to report that my ladies are loving my classes held at my home . They are thrilled with the scrapbook pages we create and also the cards created ! You cannot imagine how amazing it was to hear this and I am feeling on top of the world right now !

WORLD CARD MAKING DAY

Thankyou cards

I decided to use my Four Feathers stamp set and matching framelits to make some Thankyou cards for my hostesses. I used Pewter ( retired )  , Pool Party embossing powder and clear embossed the third feather after inking in Veramark and Pistachio Pudding ink. I used Vellum card stock for the feathers , Curvy Keepsake box ( which contains 2 small stamps ) and for the envelope . I used Gorgeous Grunge for the spatters and Delicate Dots TEF to emboss the box before assembling . I heat embossed one of the boxes in Pool Party . I hope my hostesses like them.

Good morning Stampers !

I am still waiting on a few  to RSVP for next Sunday 's technique class . Can you please respond by the end of the day . I am looking forward to some family time these school holidays so I need to be prepared for classes .

SCRAPBOOKING WORKSHOP

Today we created this double layout . The ladies were really delighted with their pages ! I have used some deleted product in this week's class - don't you just love those teddies ? How adorable are they ? We did lots of heat embossing today and created the moon with the use of the circle framelits . The ladies commented the most challenging part of today was getting those little stars nailed down on 

the twine ! The new stars border punch was used to create the gorgeous border . I just love that punch don't you ?

CHRISTMAS CLASS ALMOST FULL

Hi Stampers 

I have been kept a little busy creating some Christmas cards for my next class . If you would like to join me to make eight cards in four different designs contact me for more details but hurry the class is almost booked out !

Technique Class

Hello Stampers ! Eight ladies learnt two different techniques at this weeks class . The first card you see here was created using a watercolour ink block stamping technique . Although a bit dubious about it the ladies all loved their finished card .  Serene Silhouettes , By The Tide and Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamps were used along with Rose Red , Pacific Point Elegant Eggplant and Pear Pizazz inks .

 Then we created this card using the Reflection technique and to accomplish this the ladies were required to use the Stamp-a - ma -jig. Turns out this was great because some ladies already had one of these and no clue how to use it.Last of all we created these two rocking cards for baby - I thought that was very appropriate ! 

If you'd love to try your hand at some creations like this I'd be happy to show you how !

 

SUNDAY 'S CLASS

Are you ready ? Have I kept you in suspense long enough ? This week I'd like to show my ladies that I so appreciate your support . You ladies are awesome ! So for this weeks class there will be a Mystery Hostess . What does this mean for you ? Well , if your name is drawn out YOU will receive the hostess benefits accrued from the workshop ! How amazing will that be ! All you need to do is book in for the class before Wednesday this week ! I can't wait to see who the Mystery Hostess will be ! Workshop Cards

A great party at Boort today ! My hostess was ecstatic at her sales that were far more than she imagined ! If you'd love to earn some free product by  gathering a few friends together and supplying a simple afternoon tea contact me ! I'd love to  be your demonstrator and introduce you to the wonderful world of Stampin' Up !

Our first card here  our blendabilitiies to colour the flower which is from a new stamp set called Beautiful Bunch which has a co ordinating punch .   We also used the small flower in this set and the Petite Petals punch had those babies cut put in a flash ! I introduced these ladies to our new photpolymer stamps Dotty Angles and Flower Patch . Flower Patch has matching framelits - awesome !                                                                                                                                                                 The next card used I Love Lace background stamped in Hello Honey onto Very Vanilla . This was matted onto Hello Honey then onto the Lost Lagoon card base . This card was cased from Rochelle Blok . We also used some of our lovely ribbons - the gorgeous Venetian Crotchet trim and Lost Lagoon satin . A simple but oh so effective card Thankyou Rochelle for the inspiration - you are so clever !

The last card could be used for a guy and used Traveler and Work Of Art stamps . The ladies were so impressed with how effective this was and especially the detail of the train .

A sentiment from Sassy Salutations and some Chevron ribbon finished this card off perfectly

SCRAPBOOKING

We had a lovely afternoon scrapbooking today with lots of laughs and everyone helping each other so lovely ! Everyone was pleased with how their page turned out . We played with the new photopolymer stamps and everyone was able to line up their design perfectly . The ladies were impressed with how the photopolymer can be curved to whatever design you fancy! The stamp sets we used today were Kinda Eclectic , Starburst Sayings , Dotty Angles and Borderettes . We used the Starburst framelits to cut out our circles . The Bigshot really received a workout from Sharon and I ! We also used the On Film framelits  and butterly punches and the new arrow punch .

These pages are my grandaughter 's first day of high school .
